Introducing the Collection of Dwellings

Posted on March, 15, 2018 | Category: Press Releases

This year’s Autumn HomeXPO will feature a huge line up of interesting companies providing inspiration, advice and great new ideas to add value to your home, all under one roof for three days.

If you’re thinking of renovating or decorating, or maybe even building a house, you’re bound to discover hundreds of exciting new ideas and products that will add real value to your home.

The Autumn HomeXPO is the feature event for home enthusiasts at the Waikato Show, 6-8 April 2018 at Hamilton’s Claudelands Events Centre. Visitors will have the chance to talk directly with designers, manufacturers, and service providers, snap up one-off HomeXPO specials, and secure bookings before winter arrives.

“We have handpicked a selection of quality exhibitors that provide a wide range of products and services, and gathered them all under one roof,” says HomeXPO Exhibition Director and Director of the Waikato Home & Garden Show, Rebecca Hannah. “So it’s the perfect opportunity to browse, compare, and purchase all the things you need for your autumn and winter home projects.”

With the housing and building boom continuing, and a vibrant trend of home renovation in full swing across the region, the HomeXPO is poised to enable homeowners to research suppliers and materials and access wholesale prices.

“We are excited to announce a new feature at the HomeXPO this year; the ‘Collection of Dwellings’.  This feature will demonstrate alternative options for housing, either short or longer term. As the Kiwi dream of owning your own home becomes an increasing struggle, people are turning to alternatives and ‘stepping stones’ to get into the housing market. To support this the ‘Collection of Dwellings’ showcase will feature various types of outside-the-box accommodation. The Collection of Dwellings is also a great feature for homeowners wanting additional space for visitors or family members,”  explains Rebecca.

For those looking to keep warm this winter, there are a great range of heating and ventilation companies on show. After a day of shopping, grab great coffee and a bite to eat at the HomeXPO’s exclusive pop up cafe, Café Agora.

The Autumn HomeXPO is part of the Waikato Show which celebrates the talent and diversity of the Waikato community with a cultural village of ethnic foods, a Homegrown Harvest exhibition, an animal expo, a youth expo, an alpaca and farmyard show, an education hub and wellbeing exhibition plus a focus on community clubs as well as many other features. There is a wide range of events at the Waikato Show including carnival rides for the children. Something for everyone!

The Waikato Show opens Friday 6 April and closes Sunday 8 April at Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton.

Entry to the Waikato Show includes entry to the Autumn HomeXPO pavilion and is just $8 per adult. For more information at autumnhomexpo.co.nz and waikatoshow.co.nz.
